This is actually very simple.

The first thing you need to do is install macports form

[[1]] just choose you correct mac os version.

wonce you have installed that open terminal and enter

sudo port -d selfupdate

then enter your password

next download the file at [[2]] (you will need a apple developer id)

install the package then in terminal type

sudo port install putty

then enter your password and wait

when that is done type "putty" to launch putty
