Pidgin
From SHellium Wiki
Pidgin is an open source, multi-server, cross platform instant messenger with support for 25 protocols outside of IRC. You can get Pidgin from www.pidgin.im/download as either source code or as a compiled application.
Note: It is NOT recommended that you use Pidgin for IRC, as it lacks some of IRC's usability functions. Try another client, such as irssi instead.
- Launch Pidgin: In windows, double click the pidgin icon. On Ubuntu/Ubuntu variants, go to Applications -> Internet -> Pidgin. On other *nix systems, type this into the terminal:
pidgin
- Connecting to server
