Some ideas about these pages:

1. It might be useful to tell beginners about the possibility of further automating the log-in process by using the public key authentication.

2. Somehow I don't like the idea of repeating manuals and howto's already present on the web (and easy to find by googling). It would be sufficient to provide links. Moreover, don't want to look arrogant, but shouldn't new users, in particular wannabe unixistas, learn to look for infos on their own? Fravia.org is very helpful.

  • "shouldn't new users, in particular wannabe unixistas, learn to look for infos on their own" Isn't using google/etc exactly like using this wiki? I disagree with that part of your statement, I think we are another resource that can be utilized to find out information. Truly 'learning on one\'s own' would require guessing commands and not using outside resources (such as google) Shde 11:40, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

3. I think this should be a bit more organized. If you scroll down some of the guides that are in English are in other languages i think this should be sorted out.

How about moving this from an index and back into the "Starting Guide" or "Beginner's Guide"? Shde 11:37, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
