Links

Although wikis interpret http:// style text and convert them to links, there are ways to make your links look better on a page.

Using square brackets allows you to change the text displayed for a link.

[http://www.shellium.org clickme] shows up as clickme

If you are linking to a SHellium website you can also use
[http://www.Shellium.org Shellium.org] and it shows up as Shellium.org

If you want to link to a page internal to the wiki, you dont need to type the whole url, rather just use the topic name [[Main Page]] shows up as Main Page

The text for the link can also be changed to whatever you want using a vertical bar | as a separator [[Main Page|Go Here]] shows up as Go Here

Tip: How do you get the name of the article? It should be the first line of text at the beginning of an article. Translated pages usually have a /xy appended to the name; where xy is the language code.

You should have noticed that external links have a little image next to them which identifies it as external to the site. Internal links do not have this image. You can read more about links here.
