ChatZilla is an IRC client built on the Mozilla platform using XUL. ChatZilla also support customization using scripts and styles in JavaScript and CSS.

Installation

Chatzilla is included in Seamonkey by default and can be installed in Firefox trough third party Add-ons. There is also a standalone version built on XULRunner at chatzilla.rdmsoft.com/xulrunner/.

To install in Firefox:

1. Visit addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/16.
2. Press the Add to Firefox button to install.
3. Restart Firefox to complete the installation.
4. After restarting Firefox, select Tools from the menu bar, then select Chatzilla. The Chatzilla client will open in a separate window.
5. Choose freenode for the network.
6. When Chatzilla has connected to the Freenode network, set your nick by typing /nick <nick>.
7. To join #shellium, type /join #shellium.
